March and April's schedule has been posted. However, there will probably be some additions/changes to this schedule. The playoff format and schedule has been announced. The two regular season divisions will be split into 4 divisions for the playoffs. Foxboro has been placed in a division with Oliver Ames II, East Bridgewater, Norton and New England Hockey Institute. Teams will play a round robin with the 2 teams with the best record going on to play a 3 game series for the championship. The Foxboro Middle School Warriors beat Mansfield Sunday, 5-1. Alex Beaton led the scoring with 2 assists. DJ Alberty started off the scoring with Beaton getting his first assist. Greg Tympanick's goal followed with an assist going to Kevin Johnstone. Beaton got his 2nd assist when Tom Fitzmaurice scored to give the Warriors a 3-0 lead to the end of the first half. In the 2nd half, Matt Snyder scored off an assist from Dan Hixon but Mansfield scored minutes later to cut the lead to 4-1. Anthony Cavossa finished off the scoring with 3 minutes left, with CJ Bonacorso getting the assist. Lawrence Evans played another great game in net while the line of Hixon, Snyder and David Brackett and the defensive pair of Teddy Carmone and Tim Oakes also had great games. The next and LAST league game is Sunday, February 25 at 3:20 pm against Norton in Raynham. The Foxboro Middle School Hockey Team is comprised of Foxboro Middle School students born between 1986 and 1989 and in grades up to 8th grade. The team plays in the Bridgewater-Raynham Junior High League out of the Bridgewater Ice Arena and the Raynham International Skating Center. The season runs from the beginning of September and playoffs end in mid-April. This year the league is made up of 17 teams in 2 divisions. Foxboro plays in Division II with Attleboro, Bridgewater Raynham #2, East Bridgewater, Mansfield #2, Norton, Oliver Ames #1 and Oliver Ames #2.
